iSi planning tool

About

For my bachelor thesis at NTNU, I collaborated with iSi to develop a planning tool for their product inSight. inSight is a system that collects data by taking images of guardrails at driving speed, and later analyzes them using tailored machine learning models to detect faults. iSi requested a tool that would allow them to plan and organize work orders for their product inSight. During the project I was the team lead, responsible for communication with iSi and ensuring that the project was on track in addition to contributing with development.

The application integrates with NVDB to fetch guardrail data, allowing planners to create work orders based off selections made in an external application. Using the imported data, the users get a visual overview of the guardrails planned to be captured. In addition to this, the application also allows drivers to view work orders and view the progress. The application features a replay system that allows users to visualize the execution of a trip, showing the cars movement and progress made in real time.

This video showcases the different functionality in the application.
